Puppy Visits Bring Smiles to Cedars Care Home

Residents at Cedars Care Home were treated to a very special visit from the adorable miniature Pomeranians of Pawsitive Social Society, bringing plenty of excitement, cuddles and smiles to the home.

The anticipation began as soon as everyone heard that some furry visitors were on their way. When the puppies arrived, they quickly became the centre of attention, with residents enjoying the opportunity to meet the dogs, stroke their soft coats and spend time with their gentle new friends.

The visit created a wonderfully warm atmosphere throughout Cedars. Wagging tails, playful personalities and plenty of cuddles brought lots of laughter and conversation, while the puppies themselves seemed to enjoy all the attention from their new friends.

Bringing Puppy Visits to Residents' Rooms

One of the most special parts of the visit was the opportunity for residents to enjoy one-to-one time with the puppies in the comfort of their own rooms.

The team from Pawsitive Social Society made sure that residents who were unable to join the group could still experience the joy of meeting the dogs. The miniature Pomeranians were gently lifted onto residents' laps, allowing them to enjoy some precious moments of companionship without needing to leave their rooms.

These quieter visits provided an opportunity for residents to relax and enjoy the comfort of having a friendly animal nearby. Soft cuddles, wagging tails and little wet noses brought plenty of smiles, while the experience also encouraged conversations about pets and animals from years gone by.
