Situated in a peaceful residential area of Southend-on-Sea, Cedars Care Home is easy to reach by car, public transport, or taxi. Whether you’re visiting from within Essex or travelling from further afield, you’ll find us conveniently located near major routes and transport links.

Cedars Care Home is just over a 5-minute drive from Southend Town Centre. Simply follow Victoria Avenue (A127) north, turning onto East Street and then Sweyne Avenue. Local buses also serve the area frequently, and Southend Victoria Station is less than a mile away for easy connections.

We’re around a 20-minute drive from Rayleigh via the A127 towards Southend-on-Sea. Alternatively, you can take the Greater Anglia train service from Rayleigh to Southend Victoria, followed by a short taxi journey to the home.

Travelling from Basildon takes roughly 25 minutes by car using the A127 Eastbound towards Southend-on-Sea. Regular train services also run from Basildon to Southend Central, where taxis are readily available to bring you to Sweyne Avenue in just a few minutes.
