We always love to get out in the local area and many of our residents grew up in the area, so it brings back many fond memories.

Prittlewell Priory was founded in the 12th century, by monks from the Cluniac Priory of St Pancras and passed into private hands at the time of the dissolution of the monasteries under Henry VIII.

We were really lucky to have some wonderful Spring-like sunshine on our trip, which meant a walk around the lovely gardens was even better! After a lovely stroll and a natter we headed into the tea rooms for some well-deserved refreshments. A lovely afternoon had by all!
